Welcome/Croeso to the South Wales Caving Club!  We are based in Penwyllt, near Abercraf, fifteen miles up the valley from Swansea, in South Wales, UK. This is where you will find us at the weekend. We have 300 plus members from all around the UK, and some from overseas too.

South Wales is one of the finest caving regions in the UK. Directly below our headquarters lies Ogof Ffynnon Ddu and across the valley is Dan-yr-Ogof, two very extensive cave systems. Within easy driving there are many other caves. The club is in an attractive area for walking, bordering on the Black Mountain and the southern reaches of the Brecon Beacons.
