Ladies Showers ..... an
interesting problem With the Old Tackle Room
ceiling now in place, the floor could be removed and with it the
Ladies Showers ceiling. This went according to plan until
clearing the last set of joists revealed that work is needed on the
supports for the chimney before showers restoration can proceed. |

No.3 Bunk Room - flooring With
the pointing now finished, it was the turn of the flooring people to
install a large sheet of vinyl to the new bunk room before the bunk
constructors moved in permanently. With the usual problems of
handling 4 metres of material in a restricted space this proved to
be challenging, but nevertheless it went in without too much
trouble. |

The chimney takes shape With
better weather, John Lister, Andy Dobson and Geoff Amabilino managed
to get the first courses onto the chimney stack. |

The Great Small Common Room
Disaster Extra photo boards were added to the
array on the wall of the Small Common Room. Unfortunately the
wall mountings were not sufficiently good and the whole lot
collapsed. Somebody was standing underneath at the time and
despite having to be dug out from the wreckage, thankfully suffered
only minor cuts. The boards have now been strengthened. |

Os & Ss All
the week many small jobs are undertaken, none of them hugely
significant in their own right, but together they help to keep the
place running. These include cleaning, repairing, tidying and
painting all over the cottages. The Working Week also expunges
from the cottages quite massive quantities of junk and rubbish that
builds up during the course of a year. |
|
After hours ..... After
another very busy day, the Working Week participants were fed by the
Dragons and then retired to the Small Common Room to deal with its
contents. |
