Welcome/Croeso to the South Wales Caving Club!  

SWCC is an active caving club based in Penwyllt, near Abercraf, fifteen miles North of Swansea, South Wales. We have around 300 members from all around the UK as well as overseas. Our primary focus is caving in South Wales but the club has frequent trips to other UK caving regions as well as expeditions worldwide. 

South Wales is one of the finest caving regions in the UK. Directly below our headquarters lies Ogof Ffynnon Ddu and across the valley is Dan-yr-Ogof, two very extensive cave systems, with many others within easy reach. It is also a great area for walking and cycling, bordering on the Black Mountain and the Brecon Beacons.

Cwm Dwr Boulder Choke

Stabilization work has been completed and Cwm Dwr is now reopened. Please continue to be vigilant passing this and all other boulder chokes.
