70th Publication - Articles wanted

With less than two weeks to go before my absolute final deadline for newsletter submissions, I am really pleased to already have lots of articles. It's not too late to get writing! Those of you who have promised me articles - the deadline is 7th March. You still have plenty of time to make those finishing touches. Hope to see lots of you at the next committee weekend.

The bar has been raised

Helen and Malcolm Stewart have set a new standard in addressing the age old problem of having enough of the committee recognise who they are when it comes time to apply for full membership. In the past some have tried tea, some cakes and some photos, but this was a new high, combining cake and photos in a 'facial recognition kit', featuring a printed cake. Well done both on an impressive, and tasty, display of creativity, that was also completely successful.

A warm welcome to all our other new members:

á      Provisional: Tabitha Oosterhouse; Elena Pardo and Chloe Partridge (extended provisional membership)

á      Full: Steve Hopple; Dan Thorne and Helen & Malcolm

á      Full (re-joining): Susan O'Reilly; Kevin Munn and Jim Thompson - welcome back
