Visitor Thanks Special thanks to the members singled out for thanks in the message below 'I cannot thank you enough for letting us stay at the cottages last weekend (17-8 July). ....... However, the real highlight was getting to meet some members of the club who were all such lovely friendly people. We got to meet about 10 members who we socialised with on saturday night, who were all extremely helpful when we were planning Sunday's activities. Because of their input we visited the waterfalls which were new to me, and extemely beautiful! So thank you ever so much again. We both had a truely superb time and very much intend to come back! See you at the provisional members weekend?!' |

Trips Devon: What are you doing on 22nd-23rd August?? How about caving in Devon? Plenty of walking and cream teas to be had if you don’t fancy caving. We have 8 beds booked in the DSS caving hut in Buckfastleigh - Nice pub around the corner. There is also a campsite nearby for anyone preferring to camp. Good weather is guaranteed… Here are some photos from Devon caves. It’ll be a new caving area for a lot of us, so come and explore. What’s not to like?? Trip Reports Chloe and I have been thinking about how best to capture all the excellent trips being organised at the moment for the benefit of armchair cavers, but also to help raise awareness of just how vibrant and active the club is. To this end we would like to try and re-establish the habit of writing up trip reports and publishing them on the website, these can then be drawn on for future editions of the Newsletter. We will be putting up some reports shortly, but while I am getting that sorted can I ask you all to think about preparing something from your recent trips to share with the club. Tim
