Ogof Marros - Eurospeleo16 - Club 70th - Membership -

New cave Discovery A team of cavers including many SWCC members have been digging near Pendine in West Wales and have discovered a new cave known as Ogof Marros. Current known passage is 300-400m but with significant further potential, the cave has many intricate and delicate formations as well as trout and other biota. The cave is locked but the digging team are happy to arrange access, particularly to those keen to support exploration and further digging. Eurospeleo 16 This is a week long event being held at the Dalesbridge centre in the Dales from the 13th to the 20th August 2016. SWCC are hosting a post camp event in the week after EuroSpeleo16 (20th to the 27th August) ,would anyone who is able to help lead trips or assist in pre-rigging during that week please get in contact with me. SWCC 70th The arrangements for the club's 70th dinner are taking shape. Ty Neuadd, Hirwaun is booked for the Saturday night of 30th April 2016. Provisional guest speakers are Martin Groves, Noel Dilley and Josh Bratchley. Martin will talk about Castleguard, Noel about caving and the club in the formative years and Josh about China. |
Membership fees Club fees were due on the 1st September and the early bird discount is now long closed. Payment is required by 12th November or your membership will lapse and you will need to re-apply. Details of how to pay, and the amounts, are available here. You probably need to use the electronic method to get payment to Lel in time now. |
